The (E)GPRS 6113-AIME is a member of the ProCLAIME
series of protocol testers and provides the user
with full layer 2 and layer 3 monitoring capability
for the Um interface in a GSM based digital radio
environment, together with full emulation of a
Phase 2 GSM mobile terminal. This important test
tool provides the GSM/GPRS BTS software designer
with all the facilities needed to monitor, debug
and fault find protocol interchanges on the Um
interface at layers 2 and 3. The ability for assessment
of the integrity of traffic frames across the
air interface is also provided.
(E)GPRS 6113-AIME is a test system based on a
6113G Digital Radio BTS Test Set. A separate PC
software package is provided which controls the
6113 via a GPIB /IEEE488 interface, provides the
user with a script editing facility, logs and
displays all the layer 2 and 3 signaling exchanges
with frame and time stamps and logs all the traffic
frames.
