Option 6 extends the functionality of the 2030/40/50
to a fully featured avionics test instrument that
tests airborne ILS (Instrument Landing System),
VOR (VHF Omnidirectional Radio Range), MKR (Marker
Beacon), ADF (Automatic Direction Finder), and
SELCAL (Selective Calling) systems.
The NAV-750C/2030 Series option 6 also incorporates
a microprocessor controlled signal generator test
function, covering a frequency range of 10 kHz
to 1.35 GHz.
NEW! - Enhancement to VOR Index feature:
A selection of deviation indexes is provided in VOR mode to speed up and simplify TSO Type Acceptance Tests on airborne VOR/ILS receivers. The instrument has always provided indexes of 14 to 18 (deviations between 420Hz – 540Hz) but to fully meet the requirements of EUROCAE ED22B or the equivalent US RTCA DO-196 specifications, both of which call for indexes between 8 and 17 (240Hz – 510Hz), indexes of 8, 10 and 12 have been added.
