The asset management service is of particular benefit to companies that have multiple sites, as Aeroflex can consolidate all surplus test equipment to a single storage location and allow users from other sites to view the list of equipment and request it (all via the secure web site).

Asset Management

The asset management service is based around a test equipment pool that is managed by Aeroflex. Aeroflex will store all test equipment that is not in current use. The equipment is listed on the secure web site, and users can request items to be sent out when required. This makes it possible for surplus assets to be re-used before money is spent on buying or renting equipment, the only cost being the calibration of the equipment prior to dispatch (if this is needed). The key elements of the Aeroflex asset management service are shown below:

Equipment can be delivered by the next working day (if it does not need calibration) to any site on the UK mainland. The service has the added benefit of removing out of use equipment from customer sites. This means that it is quarantined, and there is no danger of equipment being used out of calibration. It also means that equipment is only calibrated when it is needed for use thus, avoiding unnecessary spending on test equipment.
