Aeroflex Expands Presence in Asia with new Sales Office in Taiwan

Appoints Allen Chen as New Country Manager

 

Plainview, New York — July 21, 2005 Aeroflex Incorporated today announced the opening of a new sales office for their Test and Measurement group in Taipei City, Taiwan in the Xinyi District. This new office will become the nucleus for the sales and support of Aeroflex test products and systems in Taiwan and will help facilitate the strong growth being seen currently within the wireless manufacturing industry in this country. Allen Chen has been appointed as the new country manager for Taiwan, the company also announced.

Mr. Chen comes to Aeroflex with seven years experience in the telecom industry and eight plus years in the IT industry. His experience encompasses computer science, engineering, project management, technical support, country management and customer service management.

Mr. Chen began his career in the IT industry and was a computer science teacher. In 1999, he joined Taiwan Victory Company as a technical support engineer mainly supporting Anite and RACAL products.

In 2003, he joined Anite Telecoms Ltd in Taiwan where he held several positions including: Technical Support Engineer, Taiwan Country Manager and China/Taiwan Customer Service Manager. Allen holds a Computer Engineering degree from the Chung Yuan Christian University.
