Aeroflex Control Components is your source for custom PIN diode and GaAsFET based digital phase shifters. With complete design and test capability to 40 GHz, we have the resources to help you develop a new design, build to an existing specification or replace an obsolete component. From commercial to space qualified, we can help. All phase shifters are available with hermetic seal and high-rel screening for mil and space qualified applications. If additional functionality is required, we can integrate a wide variety of components and functions such as limiters, amplifiers, attenuators, combiners/dividers, switches, filters, detectors, etc. Additional capabilities include microprocessor control and monitoring, RF signal monitoring and power supply conditioning. Analog Phase Shifters An Analog Phase Shifter Continuously Changes the phase of a microwave signal by varying a DC voltage. Since the DC voltage applied to the diode is reverse bias, the current drain is negligible (typically less than 10mA). A Balanced stripline configuration keeps the VSWR and amplitude ripple to a minimum for all values of phase Digitally Controlled Phase Shifters Aeroflex Control Components’ digitally controlled Phase Shifters vary the phase of a Microwave signal in response to a TTL compatible logic input signal. The unit consists of an analog phase shifter, series PQ, plus a digital to analog converter. A balanced Strip line configuration keeps the VSWR and amplitude change to a minimum for all values of phase. Standard units operate with 8 BITS allowing 256 discrete values of phase.
